a progression path once they reach Under 18. Immingham Town have announced any
player from Immingham Pilgrims who turns up to any of their home games wearing their Immingham Pilgrim or Immingham Town shirt will be able to get one parent in FOC for the game as well as themselves.

Immingham Town Football Club are delighted to announce the formation of the ‘ITFC Progression Pathway’, which includes official partnerships with both Immingham Pilgrims AFC and Healing Hotspurs FC.
Under the agreement of the ‘Progression Pathway’, once players at Immingham Pilgrims and Healing Hotspurs finish junior football at the end of the U16s, they have the opportunity to progress onto Immingham Town FC.
The agreement will be led by Immingham Town’s Head of Development Sam Vincent, who also oversees a similar pathway at Grimsby Town FC for their ‘Shadow Scholarship’ programme.
The ‘Progression Pathway’ will involve;
– The formation of an Immingham Town U17 team from next season (22/23), and the formation of an U18 team from the season afterwards (23/24)
– From the 2023/24 season and beyond, the intention is to have at least one U17 and at least one U18 team every year
– U16 players from both Healing Hotspurs and Immingham Pilgrims joining Immingham Town once their U16 season concludes, assuming they wish to do so
– The coaches of the Immingham Pilgrims and Healing Hotspurs U16 teams being able to continue managing their team up to U18 level with Immingham Town, assuming they wish to do so
– Opportunities for the coaches of Healing Hotspurs and Immingham Pilgrims to remain within the Immingham Town FC setup, after their team finishes at U18 level
– Collaboration and support between the coaching staff at Immingham Town and the coaches at Immingham Pilgrims and Healing Hotspurs, including ‘progression meetings’ where appropriate
– Shared access to football facilities across Healing and Immingham where appropriate
– The creation of an Immingham Town U23s team, who will be able to play friendly fixtures across the county and beyond as and when convenient
– New signings of young players to Immingham Town FC (outside the first team) centrally managed by the Head of Development
– Players ultimately striving to progress into the Immingham Town Reserves and Immingham Town First Team
– Players being eligible for the Healing Hotspurs men’s first team, where appropriate, to gain experience of senior football
– No financial cost to either Immingham Pilgrims or Healing Hotspurs
– Free entry to ITFC First Team games for Immingham Pilgrims and Healing Hotspurs junior players
– A strong, long term, working partnership between all 3 clubs to provide the best possible football opportunities for the young players of Immingham, Healing and the surrounding areas

This partnership will massively improve the transition from junior to adult football for our players.
